EasyTaxSolutions is a small home based business with one employee; me!

It is my mission to make tax time less stressful while making the whole process easier.  It is my pledge to prepare an accurate return to the best of my abilities according to the most common interpretation of current tax law.

It is also my pledge to keep confidential your tax records and personal information.

As a Christian, I believe actions speak louder than words and I try to conduct my business with my Christian testimony in mind.

Originally, I started helping people with their taxes in Washington state and have been serving customers in the Colorado Springs area for over ten years. By keeping my practice small, I can better serve the individual needs of my customers. EasyTax Solutions provides a personalized service.  You are not just a “number”.  To keep things simple, I specialize in preparing individual & small business (Schedule C) tax returns.  I also provide some bookkeeping services.

Thanks for visiting and I look forward to serving you.

EasyTaxSolutions is owned & managed by Stanley Lebahn

Personal history:

In 1978 I started studying accounting at Highline Community College. At that time my plan was to become a CPA.  In 1982 I enrolled at Northwest College of the Assemblies of God feeling that God might be calling me into the ministry. In 1984, I graduated with an Associates degree in Business, and in 1986, I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Behavioral Sciences with a minor in counseling.

The counseling degree helps me deal with my customers while meeting their needs above & beyond simply preparing an income tax return

In 1988, I worked for a few months with the Internal Revenue Service and learned that I would rather help people with their tax problems than try to collect money from people who couldn’t afford to pay.

In 1989, the Business Manager at the church we attended suggested I start preparing tax returns & helped me get started. I found that I enjoyed helping people deal with the nightmare of tax time.  It gives me great pleasure to finish a tax return and see the relief of weight off a persons shoulders when they find out it isn’t as bad as they thought it would be.

In 2001 & 2002 I worked part-time for a local tax preparer to gain additional experience working with the public and greater variety of clients.  In 2003 & 2004 I attended the IRS Tax Forum where I met a lot of my peers and exchanged ideas about preparing tax returns.   Since then I’ve been attending the annual NATP tax conferences.

It is my hope to help people be successful in areas other than simply income taxes. This web page will be one of the ways I can do that. Please look for other links, other helpful information & products that can help you to be more successful in life.
